Ministry Item of the Month
A new day shelter has opened in downtown Wilmington 2-3 days a week to provide a cool and safe space for homeless persons. This is a joint project of several churches in the downtown area. They are in need of Country time lemonade (they are using an entire can every day they are open!), bug spray, napkins, small baby powder & sugar (averaging 2lbs a day!). Thank you, Wesleyan Chapel, for your generosity – let’s fill those ministry bins again! Bins are located in the Narthex, Choir Hall and in Lee Hall.

Stephen Ministry
A Stephen Minister is a congregation member with gifts for caregiving and has received training in providing emotional and spiritual care. It is someone who will “be there” to listen, care, pray, support and encourage.
We all experience challenges in life and a Stephen Minister is equipped to walk beside you in times of:
A chronic or terminal illness
Loss of a loved one
Divorce or separation
Loneliness
Unemployment
Any many more
Stephen Ministry is a confidential Ministry. The identity and what takes place remains private. Contact Miriam Shipp (910-777-8063) or Diane Croom (910-540-2097) for additional information.

Breakfast
Sundays 9:15-11:00am (see church calendar for dates) in Lee Hall
In June, breakfast will be served every Sunday.
We need volunteers in order to serve breakfast. Please consider helping out periodically. Two to three volunteers are still needed each Sunday breakfast.
