Fall is just around the corner and so is our Fall changeover at Good Sam!    Our preparation for changeover will begin in August with a ½ price sale on all clothing August 25th and 26th and continue on September 1st and 2nd.  September 8th and 9th will start our bag sale which will continue on September 15th and 16th when household goods will also be ½ price.    We will then work on Monday September 18th and Wednesday the 20th to change over to our Fall & Winter merchandise.

Operating since 1995, the purpose of Good Samaritan House is to provide affordable clothing and housewares for those in our community in need. For those in exceptional circumstances, Good Sam House also provides assistance directly to those in need of household items.

Proceeds are donated to local organizations who provide assistance to those in need.

Our greatest need  is for children’s summer clothing size 12 months to youth XL – size 18, men’s summer clothing, home décor, children’s toys, and household items.

All items should be gently used, please check that items do not have stains, rips, holes, missing buttons, excessive wear, that all items work, are not missing parts and have no cracks, chips, etc.

Donations are accepted only during our normal hours of operation. Donations should be brought to the back door.

We do not accept furniture, mattresses, TV’s, computers, VCR or cassette tapes, and due to an influx of hangers of all types lately, we are not accepting loose hangers at this time.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  We could use a couple more volunteers to work a 3-hour shift, our greatest need is for Saturdays.  If you are interested in volunteering at GSH, please contact Beth Sanders at or 910-470-2725.  Thank you to all who volunteer with this ministry, you are a fantastic group of people to work with.
